Called MOM I wrote this about a year after my mom had a stroke and by then she was in her own little world To watch a parent a mother, your hero, who you went to for everything sadly isn't grasping what she is being told. It's hard to watch your mentor, the one who raised me, feed me, disciplined, helped make snowmen and snowball fights start slip away. To decline into herself not knowing the time of day. When as a teenager and were out to late she would be sitting on the front porch waiting for me to get home. Or a mothers arms that hugged you when you were sad, that now doesn't, even know. How it breaks my heart to see her like this. Hands that combed my hair I now comb hers, and gnarly fingers sometimes grabs my hand and looking at her I see an old lady smiling at me, and I wonder where is my mom at, why has time taken her beauty, her loving face and replaced it a silly toothless smile, and gray lifeless hair and a frail body with skin so thin I'm afraid to push to hard on it while bathing her. So now I give her what ever she wants to eat, I buy her little suprisiesys, and her delight as she looks at it. I have to changer her pants when they get wet just like she did mine our rolls reversed. I am grateful to my mom, because I am adopted. I was wanted, and now it is me to return the love she gave to me. I love and miss you mom.

  2. I do them some times. After you answer a few questions to qualify they they tall you the length and amount the survey pays. Lately they have been asking too many questions before they give you a survey and I just quit and go back to the dashboard.

1957Horses, you have such a good heart. You took care of her so you knew the quality of care that she would receive. God love you!

1957Horses, that is a beautiful and poignant poem. I have tears. I cannot imagine how difficult it has been for you, and I’m so sorry for your loss.

  5. Just finished a long (aprox 20min or more) survey about the conova virus and my reaction to it, lots of questions and needed to type a bit. This is an emotional subject to me and I worked hard to give the best possible answers and information. Got to the finish and clicked..., the page read :Error! "It's not you, it's us, try again later. Makes me so sad and angry...If the survey had an error why was it still on the rotation?

  7. This is a new panel I think. I just received an invite to join thru clearvoice surveys panel. I read the faq's and you don't receive incentives for completing activities(polls, surveys, discussions), you just get a entrance to win prizes. I don't waste my time on "chances to win prizes", give me incentives per activity or go away, lol. Hope this helps others decide whether or not to join.

  8. So today I was sent a test product and i did not even know I was invited to the focus group. I have a folder that I keep all the focus groups I fill out. I also delete those that i don't hear from after 10 days. Now I remember filling out the app this was for but that was 2 weeks ago deleted it the other day. I never got a call telling me I was invited to participate. Well now I have the item and don't know what I'm suppose to use it or do I record using it?? By the way, it came in a box that you would get buying it. Not in a brown box with a letter telling what to do Any suggestions??

  9. The last several months I have been getting more and more of these surveys with variable points. As a rule I do not take surveys which don't state what they pay up front so I have been skipping them. I'm curious if anyone has done enough of these to form an opinion whether they're worth bothering with or if their just another way to get people to work for virtually nothing.

  11. So perhaps it’s the fact that I’ve had a jumbo margarita with lunch earlier today and I have some tequila in me that I’m asking this, but I’ve actually been pondering this for a few days now. I like to read the latest reviews on the dashboard for all the survey sites. Something I’ve seen again and again is people who have taken $50+ or even over $100 worth of surveys and they suddenly get dumped by the survey site for the same generic BS “not being honest, rushing through surveys, having more than one account” etc etc etc. And that’s it. No recourse. No amount of complaining/contacting the BBB/state’s attorney’s office/whatever is gonna get you that hard earned money back. I think it’s beyond unacceptable, total BS that these companies get away with this. I wonder if it’s even feasible/realistic to find a way to take these survey sites to small claims court. Probably not, but I wish it were. My heart aches when I read some of these stories from people who were screwed. With small claims court, if they find in your favor, not only do you win your settlement, but usually the offending party has to pay court costs and that in addition for paying you the money you’re owed. I’d love to see someone like Judge Judy ream some of these companies a new one. Someone needs to hold these companies accountable for fraud and stealing. Wondering if anyone has ever tried to take a survey site to small claims court.

  14. I think I'm going to try this one. I earned that money. It took a long time to earn that money, through mind numbing surveys.

  15. I threatened one site with taking them to small claims court. I got my money! Threaten them with that. Might work.

Thank You so much. I think the worse part was after her fall that was it. Hospital sent her back home and she was in so much pain and couldn't tell us where. Had hospice came on that Friday and Sunday she took her last painful breath. If she had not fallen she would maybe lived a year longer she was only 94. and that early for her women side of the family. Her Grandmother lived to 104 and had 16 children and her mom my Nana was 102, (she also was called home in my home)

  17. Man, that sucks! I’d get hold of the survey panel and tell them what happened. Demand they credit you for the survey, since they said it’s them anyway. So ridiculous what these idiot survey companies do to their panelists.
