Yobry, I have noticed this too. You brought up a good point that many companies (including survey companies) closed due to the pandemic, but the question remains whether there will be more to emerge back again in the future once this pandemic is behind us?
I am in the NYC area, and the majority of those large office buildings in Manhattan are still empty even though COVID has been contained here. There is no sign that they will be occupied again and this is very scary since NYC is also the epicenter of our economy. Many companies want to go fully remote to save money on office leasing, which I think would be bad for business in the long run. Humans are not meant to be robots interacting only on machines. There needs to be a push for in-person interaction after this is all over. I believe market reseaech companies get better feedback and information when meetings are in person, because it also allows them to better judge body language, character, and get more questions in without being interupted or internet crashing.
If this pandemic encourages companies to be more frugal and lazy, limiting in person interactions even after it is all over, this will become a very sad country. This is under the same principal that students learn and grow better via in-person instruction vs virtual. The remote element should ONLY be used as a backup when all else fails. I know I went a little off topic here, but had to vent!
