  2. Had one at least 15 years ago for cat food that was the reverse. They asked how many cats we had and we told them one. Box arrives with 2 4 lb. jugs of the cat food! That lasted quite some time and turned out to be exactly what were were feeding her.

  3. I just got an email from clear voice about a political survey from clear voice. I answered a few questions, and I got accepted for the survey. It is going to take place tomorrow 9/23 at 5:00 pm. It is going to take about 20 minutes, and for the first ten minutes you have to interact with somebody who has an opposite view on politics. It sounds like if you tell them you are a Democrat they match you with somebody who is a Republican, and both people have to state their views on things. You then spend 10 minutes filling out a survey about how your interaction went. You get paid $5 for this. Did anybody else get this? I am kind of nervous about this.

  5. Hello, every time I click on a survey on Opinion outpost I get redirected to this page" answer few questions to start this survey" then nothing happens after I click submit, I tried multiple devices, cleared cookies and nothing is working, it's like I'm stuck on that page and can't progress. I still get surveys invitations via my email but they all take me to that page, so I'm wondering if anyone in a similar boat or it's just me ?

  6. Anyone recently get a university based study that had a couple of other questions , but was over 50% timed Sudoku puzzles? Just had one - never did a Sudoku in my life - and the instructions were sketchy on how to do one. Not sure what they expected to gain in data from it.

  7. I just did the survey, and it was not that bad. I live in the Chicago area, but the guy they paired me with lives in Southern Cal. and he told me that he has had wildfires on two different occasions in his neighborhood, and he has lost several friends to the virus. He was actually nice. He did not jump down my throat. It was a Qualtrics survey, and it was conducted by a professor at Harvard. I would do this again. I can see if you do not know who you are going to vote for, that they would not want you. I don't love Biden, but I hate Trump, and anybody is better than he is. I think Biden has a much better chance of winning than Bernie would have because he is more moderate. The person I wanted to be the Democratic candidate was Amy, and she dropped out, and pulled herself out of the race to be VP. I am very interested in the election because I desperately want Trump out of office, but there is a chance he will win again. I already got my $5, but this was the first survey I am been eligible for in over a month, although I did get lots of $.10 for DQ. Now I just need $.45 to claim two Amazon GC.

  8. That sounds pretty interesting. I haven’t received anything like that, but I’d go for $5 to argue with someone opposite of me on the political spectrum. After all, I argue frequently with my youngest sister about politics, and don’t get paid for it. She plays dirty pool though. She tag teams with her boyfriend, and then it’s two against one. I hold my own though. So I say if they want to pay you for arguing with someone, go for it!

  9. I think Pinecone is just looking to cut how much they pay for our work and think people are desperate enough to work for pennies when it was $3.00 on the Pinecone site. I don't get many emails from them anymore as I once did but after age 65, hardly anyone really seems to want my opinion. WIth the economy tanking, it's only going to get worse and I've never known it to get better.

  18. What type payout? I have cashed out several times in the last couple of years , both Paypal and Amazon , and it took no longer than a couple of days.

  19. I recently signed up for this one. Can't recall why exactly, unless it was to earn an incentive from another survey site. Maybe Tellwut? Anyway, I don't expect to be spending much, if any, time with this one.

  20. Folks, I've been a member of various vision critical forum panels in the past. Be aware that there are no cumulative rewards or perks. no discounts, special offers or even measly coupons. The only incentive is entry into a game of chance, a drawing. I never got anything for all my efforts and it is real easy to become discouraged when you get nothing in return. I seriously question the ethics of any corporation that relies on a game of chance as the reward. This is a legitimized way to get work for free. While they do state that the rewards have been quintupled, $1250 per sweeps take to 50 winners,. The membership is vast, so the expected return is nearly zilch. What I find the most disturbing is the parsimony of a very, very rich corporation. The address listed in the TOC is Nestle USA Corporate headquarters. Nestle is a transnational company pulling in over $90,000,000,000 yearly and use nearly free panelist input to increase their profits. I'm sure there's a story in here, can anyone recommend a journalist that might be interested in this subject?. Besides Micheal Moore.
