  1. I just won the daily sweepstakes at Clear Voice. I won $100. I will get my money in 6-8 weeks. I did not even know they had a daily sweepstakes.

  2. I got one from Swagbucks, but I buy the SB, I don't earn them, and I pay an additional dollar for them. So I am going to talk to my tax guy and see what he says. I know it has to be reported, but I should be able to do something for those points that I purchase at a premium.

  3. That was a valid email. All $$ earned from a site is totaled. If you exceed $600 , you get the form as the income has to be reported.

  4. Seems most of the survey companies and becoming pretty awful during Covid, poor payouts, indifferent support desk, totally inappropriate surveys and yes multiple routing, my record is 7, but must admit no loopbacks.,

  5. I have been participating in surveys at this site for several months. I requested a $25 payout on Oct. 16th. I qualified for quick pay which would be in 5 days. It is now Nov. 8th and have not received any payout. I have contacted support several times. So far no response. However I am still receiving emails notifying me of available surveys, So it appears that there is someone still there. I would advise avoiding this site as there are many survey sites that operate as advertised.

  6. Do not use this survey site!!! Beware of your personal financial information. During the the initial signup they require you to give them a verified bank account through pay pal and send them photo copies of your account numbers. Surly you are too smart for this I hope. Who will they give them to and how will you trace this potential for a gigantic fraud. There are a lot of ethical sites out there such as E Rewards. so don't be taken in by this and destroy your Financial future. https://embed.vidello.com/1871/fhhehf3gvcpkdyxt/index.html

  7. I have to say the most sites I use all record when I cash out the same way they keep a record of what surveys I've taken or attempted to take. But yes, I agree it's a good rule of thumb to write down, same as you would balancing a checkbook. And kind of crazy they send they sent it and it shows up a day later....

  8. I counted 16 survey websites they operate. I wish one opinion wasn't one of them.

  9. oneopinion unfortunatly was just taken over by them. They are like a virus- they take over great companies and then slowly destroy them

  10. Here's a good place to start, https://www.surveypolice.com/companies/dynata and since SSI/Daynata are in the acquisition business, you should always read the privacy policy, and Terms and conditions of new survey panels you're considering, going forward to see if they've been bought out by this group.

  11. Most survey sites don't ask for ss# or even a home address, just email, how would the irs know if you made over 600 dollars?

  12. I've only hit $600 on OneOpinion and when that happens, a message pops up that tells you you can't cash out any more unless you provide them with your tax information. You can also just wait until the new year if you don't want to provide it. That said, you're legally supposed to be reporting any amount you receive as income on your taxes, even if it's under $600.

  13. Most survey sites will ask you for a ssn if you do make over 600 dollars with that one site, so they'll know at that point. If you make 500 dollars with a dozen different companies, though, they will not, any more than the cops will know if you're driving around with a bunch of crack in your trunk, which is say, they aren't going to rummage around in your trunk for no reason, but if they happen to open your trunk for some other reason (in this analogy, opening your trunk is a tax audit), and they look through your bank records and see a bunch of money unaccounted for, that's the point where you're pretty much boned. (Though the chances of getting an audit are, admittedly, small, if you aren't raising other bigger red flags. Doesn't make it any less against the law, of course, any less than driving around with a bunch of narcotics in your trunk that you're pretty sure nobody will notice is.)
