  1. Probably a Bean counter came out of their cube and nixed the $15 option for costing a thousandth of a penny more than the other oprions. It seems that the extra points are to contribute to the PP fees. I do paypal with prolific and there never is a charge for the service.

  2. I just finished a pi-opinion survey about lightbulbs that took me a while, and definitely got me thinking. It was interesting, but exasperating at times. It was a survey done by the University of Pittsburgh. I got $1.50 from pi-opinion for doing the survey, but they also asked for my address, and there is a 1 in 10 chance that I will get $100 worth of prizes from the university. The survey was about lightbulbs, and specifically LED and halogen bulbs. It mentioned that both bulbs cost the same amount of money per bulb, but then it went into how long the light bulbs lasted, and how much electricity they used. They then went into different scenarios where if LED bulbs cost $60, but halogen bulbs were free, which would you choose, and then there were various scenarios you were asked about, and you were supposed to choose one. They also asked about cereal, and which one you would choose. The thing is that if my name gets drawn for the $100, they are going to send me either halogen or LED light bulbs, and the rest of the $100 is going to distributed in an Amazon GC. I don't think It will be a huge GC. It will be more like $15. Did anybody else get this survey?

  4. Yeah, I am hoping to get just enough for an Uber GC and then dropping them until they offer hard cash incentives again (if they ever do).

  5. Well, I’m happy to say I was wrong in my assessment. The money landed in my PayPal today. It took almost three months for me to accumulate enough to cash out though. It’s taking way too long for me to get that many points. I think I’ll take a break from them for the time being. I can cash out quicker on other sites. OneOpinion is not worth my time right now.

  6. Just goes to show that most of these companies couldn't care less about us. I used to use Qmee and had a couple of surveys that I didn't get paid for a long time ago, wrote to them and they sorted it for me. On the last two occasions they just fobbed me off with a load of nonsense and I didn't get the reward, so I binned them, plus I find the surveys were very low paying.

  7. It looks like the zero point survey bug has returned. I'd up load the screen shot, but Survey Police has throttled me to 50k images.
