  1. Hello, After the feed back that the community has given, I have change my survey to hopefully accommodate everyone; hopefully surveymonkey would be ok. Once again I need 20 - 30 people to hopefully do my survey. It shouldn't take long only for 2 - 3 minutes with 9 question. This time your anonymity would be ensure. Thank you for your helpful feedback and for helping me with my school project. The link to the survey is below. Once again thank you. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GPDJHHS

  2. I will not give out my name and email address, or download anything. AND if the survey is far too long, say a half hour or more I just skip it, been disappointed far too many times with LONG surveys.

  3. I wouldn't worry yet. These places often give these great estimates of payment and sometimes it takes a few days longer. I have done online projects for User Interviews and got paid in a timely manner.

  4. I agree with everyone above. I also don't do this movie survey that starts with "do you have a son/daughter you take to the movies." It has ended in me getting screwed too many times. I'm also leery of the alcohol-related ones. I just got out of one that asked me if I had heard of a wine. It said 1/53. No way. It just takes way too much time waiting for that next card to load. I'd be more willing to do it if all of the options were on the same screen and I could quickly click the answers.

  5. I won't do any surveys where the effective pay rate for the survey is less than $2 per hour (incentive / length in minutes * 60). My time is more valuable than $2 per hour. I also don't do any surveys that require downloads or giving PI information (like home address) unless it's a home product test. I ignore surveys that ask for sign ups for other panels too. I prefer to vet the panels myself.

  6. I occasionally get emails from user interview, but none of them interest me. They were actually doing a live in person study? I have not gotten any of those since the pandemic started. All of the ones I have gotten from Plaza Research and a few other outfits have been either online or through Zoom. I don't know if I would be willing to do a live one right now. If there were any in downtown Chicago, I would be nervous about taking public transportation, and I would have to spend $20 on parking in the Loop. I have not been on a subway or bus since the pandemic started. One of the market research companies a few months ago asked me if I would be comfortable doing a live study, but that is before things got bad again in Illinois. I might consider doing one somewhere I could drive and would not have to pay an arm and a leg for parking, like the one I did a few years ago in Skokie, but most of the studies are either in downtown Chicago or on Michigan Ave, where the parking is prohibitive.

  7. I won't do any surveys where they want me to download anything. I just got one today where they want me to download an app on my computer so they can track where I go. No thanks. I think it was digital reality. I also passed on one where they asked me to send them my junk mail.
