Hilarious, I literally also just responded to the exact opposite question, someone asking if it was normal that Prolific hadn't given them a single survey in two days, and I'll say the same thing to you as to them: Prolific is weirdly variable. Sometimes I get so many surveys I can't keep up for days on end... sometimes I don't get a single survey for a week and a half. It's weird. I like that they try to pay well enough for your time, and their tech support/customer service actually cares and responds. Just super variable how much you get (and occasionally junk still gets through their net, haha.)

  2. I'd say more than half the time, they just mean desktop/tablet/phone, that they don't care if your "desktop" is actually a laptop? It runs the "desktop" version of sites by default (thankfully); I couldn't imagine only having a mobile OS and nothing else. I'd go crazy. I usually don't accept surveys that require a phone, unless they pay really well or I'm super bored. The dumbest are the ones from Quick Thoughts that ask you to be on a desktop site, even though Quick Thoughts could filter those surveys out and not give them to you because it's literally a mobile-only survey app (one of only a couple I bother with, because they pay well enough - but it's still super dumb when that happens. I like how much it pays, but I hate how buggy it is. >.>)

  3. Logged in successfully about 5 minutes ago (I didn't actually change anything). Bedtime now, so cashed out my balance to Paypal straight away just to be on the safe side.

  4. I've had the 127.0.0.1 error from Crowdology website for the last couple of days, have tried all the obvious fixes (proxy settings, reboot hub) to no avail. Getting the error on both of my PCs and my tablet so I am thinking it is a problem at their end. (I am in the UK). Also received errors on completing a couple of surveys yesterday, so no credit. Not bothering with any new ones while this remains a problem. Hoping they can sort it out, whatever 'it' might be!
