  1. I usually take a screen shot so I have the survey number. I have done 2 in the past 3 days like that. I wonder if I will ever get paid for them. I guess I wait and see.

  2. Bottom line, it should be a personal choice when it comes to getting the vaccine or allowing your child to get it. Especially if your child is known to have allergic reactions to some foods or other medications in the past, I would not take that chance. No school or business should have the right to mandate a vaccine that is so new, with already known safety issues (otherwise J&J wouldn't have been paused). They obviously do NOT know the magnitude of the adverse reactions these vaccines can potentially cause. I would say 1 out of every 2 people I personally know had some pretty nasty side effects from the vaccine. (A vaccine that STILL does not guarantee you will be protected) Keep in mind that even though it is very sad so many people passed away from COVID, at least 98% of people who got COVID survived. The number of heart disease deaths in 2020 was actually DOUBLE the number of COVID deaths to put it in perspective. I support anyone's decision to get the vaccine, but I also support anyone who refuses to get the vaccine. Both sides have very good arguments.

  3. How do you get so many surveys from them? I don't think I ever saw a 4000 point survey before. How long did it take you to complete that one? I think most of their surveys at least the ones I get are either 350 or 500 points.

  4. Are these emails inviting you to take a survey? If that is the case I don't know anybody else who gets emails from them that frequently.

    W-9

You said you received a W-9 form in January. Am I correct? I might be wrong about this but I think you are supposed to report your earnings for any survey site where you earn at least 600.00 in a given year. Did you earn at least 600.00 from this panel in 2020? If you did I think you need to report it as income when you file your 2020 taxes. When you cashed out at the end of December if they paid you on or before 12/31 it would count as 2020 income. If they paid you after 12/31 then I think it would go toward 2021. I believe that is how it works.

  6. There are certain survey sites/routers that I will not do. JD Power is a total scam. I’ve never successfully completed any survey from them. Peanut Labs is a sketchy site too, and I don’t trust them. Any surveys that start with the question “what work/position do you do?” without leaving me an “I don’t work/retired” option I X out of. If they want me to scan in a copy of my drivers license, that is a hard pass too. If it’s just a thing to join another survey company, I won’t do those either. There are so many things that I could probably write a book! I have become much more picky about what I will accept as far as taking a survey. I’ve found out over time that most survey sites do not reward loyalty, will throw you under the bus in a New York minute, and will do everything they can to screw you out of your earnings. Many will get to where you cash out, and then they’ll pull a fast one and dump you. That should be totally illegal. Many of the survey sites will take your personal info and sell it to every con artist and grifter out there.

  7. I remember the good old days back in 2008 when survey panels used to pay great and not everything was purchased by "Dynata" but privately owned. My most favorite memory was Surveyspot giving out almost $3 per survey and ton's of home product tests. Onopinion when they were still privately owned and even MyView. How have times have changed it's so sad how all these great panel have been killed off by "Dynata" which is on a banning spree and getting a true panel these days that actually cares about it's members and has great rates are all gone. I attached some photos for those of you which might bring back some good memories. Found a pic of that scratch card on Survey Spot, those were good memories.

  8. I did not get this because I don't have any kids, but I just found out on the news that yahoo news and yougov did a vaccine survey for adults with kids under the age of 18. They found out that there was a lot of hesitancy among parents to get their kids vaccinated when the COVID vaccines become available to kids. There was particularly more hesitancy amount younger parents, and among lower income people and Republicans. A lot of the people responding said that kids are low risk from dyeing or getting really sick from COVID, and so why do kids need to get vaccinated. Experts predicted that a lot of parents will change their mind, and allow their kids to get vaccinated.
