My friend and I do Prolific. Neither of us had a survey from them in a week, other than a 2 minute quick one. Anyone else? I know I've read on their site that there are these times but it just seems weird since I normally get a few every day. Anyone else?

I've had the usual number of surveys until the last day or two when I've only gotten one.

Lettuce

One of my rules of thumb. I rarely take surveys that are listed as being anything longer than 20 minutes. That way you don't have so much time invested when they kick you out. And if the survey has no time indication at all, I X out immediately.

How about being invited to a month long diary study, being sent surveys multiple times a week, taking them, then 3 weeks in, they just stop sending you surveys, or their links start being broken, or their site's down or something, and you don't even get an apology, let alone any payment. Cause that's happened a couple times.
