  1. I am just so sick and tired of completing a survey and then not getting credit for its completion. After I've wasted my time taking the survey it infuriates me to get the message " We are sorry, but you don't qualify" or " We've reached our quota", or better yet " This survey is now closed." This has been happening to me much more now than in the past and it's infuriating. I hate wasting my time. Besides I sometimes think this message pops up because they don't want to pay yet they want to use the info you've given them. Thanks for listening to my vent. Anyone else experiencing this frustration now more than ever??

  2. That's called scrubbing the responses, a form of censorship. There are a lot of survey panels which will scrub the results their respondants provide, so they can promote their sociological and political agenda towards whatever company, charity or government organisation is the client. I'm not surprised given that political correctness has evolved over the past 15-20 years to manifest into cancel culture and censorship in today's society. This problem of survey panels scrubbing responses has become so widespread and common in the market research and Get Paid To industry, that clients have recently started to use multiple survey panels at the same time. I was doing a survey for British Heart Foundation to review their television advertising and I gave a negative opinion on their advert then the Surveybods panel emailed me to say they're not using my responses then I was shadowbanned as I then stopped receiving surveys and my cashout requests were always denied. My answer was not rude or tactless. BHF were using shock tactics in their advert to show internal organs and someone on life support hooked up to a machine in a hospital bed, to try to encourage people not to smoke and eat to much and get fat. The advert also asked the public to donate to their charity for research into cancer and heart conditions. My response in the survey was that it's not the 1990s any more, it's the 2010s, so shock tactics don't work in advertising any more because they've been so often in an overused manner, it's become cliche and stale so we've become desensitised to it. There was a time when swearing on tv was controversial, PETA using half naked bodies of sexualised women to say "I'd rather be naked than wear fur" was controversial, or when a person being murdered in a tv drama that wasn't a horror or action show, like a soap was controversial.

  3. I got an email from them just the other day but the target group is so focused, the chance of qualifying is less than the International Space Station falling out of orbit onto your house.

  4. Mining data and then not paying is exactly what they are doing b/c they know we have no way to prove otherwise. Would they work for the chance of being paid? I think not. This is another example of corporations making large profits on the backs of us little people. If anyone has any clout with their elected officials, suggest to Congress that they enact legislation to hold these companies' feet to the fire and make them pay. My experience with the BBB is they are paltry bark and no bite.

  5. Yes, I also experience this on a daily basis. I get so angry and want to email the site and cuss them out, tell them they can stick it where the sun don't shine. This is why I have cut down on the amount of time I will spend doing surveys. It sucks to work on a lengthy boring tedious survey, only to have that alert come up at the end. I have dumped so many survey sites because of this. Most of these sites shouldn't even be in business. They should be criminally prosecuted and shut down.

  6. I experience this on a daily basis. It makes my blood boil and have very nearly threw my phone at the wall on many occasions. Had one yesterday, awful boring survey that I was 10mins in, got that dreaded wait for the next screen to load and you know it's coming, bang, screened out! That's what is so annoying, you complete the survey and you generally have no idea if you will get the reward or not at the end, that is so wrong. Most survey companies are a bunch of con artists and I despise them for wasting our time.

  7. 100% spot on. They must get tons of free data from us yearly, as this happens to me on a daily basis and lots of others as well. When you message these survey companies, they always say that they can choose to use your data or not, what a scam that is. So I work, use my time all in the hope I will get paid, that is completely wrong and should be illegal. As you put, nothing is done about it, something needs to be done about this though.

  10. Thanks, I might sign up for Paid Viewpoint. I heard though that for a while all they give you are surveys worth $.10, and after you complete lots of those, they then give you surveys that pay more. I finally did some surveys for Rewards for Opinion, which is for people who have a Southwest Rapid Rewards account. I am usually not eligible for any of their surveys, and so I rarely do them. I did complete two surveys for them tonight though. I then tried to log into my account to see how many points I had, and I could not remember my password, and so I tried to reset it, and I kept getting an error message. It said that it would take me 6 weeks to get my points anyway. I think they are owned by the same people that own Valued Opinion.

  11. Is that why prolific is awful now. I didn't know that as I have never been on TikTok. I have pretty much gave on them now, I think I have had about 4 surveys in 3 months. What a shame, used to be one of the best for me.

  12. I'm ok with it when they ask it right away, because you can choose to continue or not. What upsets me is when you've spent 15 or 20 mins on the survey, are about to complete it, and it requires your address at the end with zero warnings or ways to opt out.

  13. Swagbucks is a very dishonest company. They are having a lot of trouble with many accounts. You should go to Facebook and read all the negative comments. I have been with them forever and am constantly denied points. They also have a bad BBB rating. If they can, they will cheat you out of your points. Their contact info for help is never answered.

  14. Toluna is a selective scammer. They don't scam all their members, only some of them. They banned me with an email telling me I was banned with no reason given. When I emailed them for further clarification, they replied stating that their terms and conditions allows them to ban any user they want for any reason they want, with no reason given, so even they refuse to give a reason it's somehow okay because I agreed to it because I ticked the agree checkbox for agreeing to their terms and conditions when signing up. However my sister used them for years and she wasn't scammed. Use with caution. Toluna is a selective scammer. There's so many negative reviews online which caused Toluna to create an endless spawn of shell companies and rebrands every few years, so that the new name doesn't look bad when you type it in Google with the word review on the end.

  15. I am a member of Hivemind and my grandson who lives with us was recruited to participate in an online survey for successive weeks about teen perceptions about tobacco and vaping. The reward was $30.00. This was in August and we have never gotten any communication about the compensation. They will not answer any message I have tried through Facebook nor on their website. I am disgusted by their obvious plan to be elusive about paying. They don't contact you and you can't find them. Anyone else have any dealings with this group? I have done a few surveys with them in the past and been paid but I think any pay is getting harder to collect out of these companies.

  16. I just tried to do a snack survey I got through Clear Voice, and they finally got to the point where they asked me if I would be interested in participating in a taste test if they sent me a free sample. I said yes, and then I tried to enter in my address so they could mail the sample to me. I entered in my address, and then I had to click on a button to make sure my address was correct, and when I did it only listed the street I lived on, and not my street address. I then reentered my address, and the same thing happened. I finally gave up. All I would have gotten was the free product that was worth $3.

  17. I used to get a 500 point survey almost weekly with an extra 100 to do 2-3 minute activity at the end. Now all I get is YouGov Chat and that pays nothing so I refuse to work for free. I have about 44,000 points but fear all of that is lost for I'll never get to threshold to cash out. They will not answer any email requests either. God knows I've tried.
