  1. This just happened to me today. I was redirected to a survey (on Survey Junkie) conducted by the University of Tennessee that was looking for my views on certain issues and then wanted to know my political affiliation. The survey took about 10 minutes or so. It was a pretty easy one and I took my time and gave thoughtful answers. At the very end were the demographic questions. I answered those and then got a "Please wait as you are redirected..." message. I was kicked back to Survey Junkie's site where I was told "This survey filled up" and given a lousy 2 points for my trouble. Hmmm. Is it possible they got too many respondents with similar/identical answers to the ones I gave? I find it odd because my demographics don't make me part of a very popular survey-taking group (woman in her 40s with a post-grad degree, not from a town with a huge population... for a metro-area suburb, anyway). I guess the most likely answer is that they just wanted to grab a bunch of info for free. I did reach out to the survey author. On their first page they had all this info detailing the survey and the academic institution. It said "If you have any questions or issues concerning this survey, please email..." and provided an email address. I did reach out to them about this. If I hear anything it'll probably be something blaming Survey Junkie for it (who always say it's out of their hands, so...).

  2. This happens to me frequently. I have a three strike rule. Any survey site that does this to me three times in a row during one session gets dumped.

  3. I participated in a Shaving Study that lasted for two months. It has now been about two weeks since the study has ended and still NO PAYMENT RECEIVED. Very shady company. No one answers the phone when I call nor replies to emails. I will update if I ever get paid. Very shady company. I would avoid this company from now on.

  4. I'm glad it's not just me having these issues. Caity03 like you I've contacted Survey Junkie over this and the first time they said "we know it's annoying to get disqualified, blablabla.." I told them it's not so much getting disqualified, it's being accused of breaking rules when I didn't even get to answer any questions. I started taking screenshots of the error message that showed the survey ID number in my browser's address bar (I noticed they will sometimes ask for the individual survey number). A couple of times I sent those to them and while they gave me the same song and dance about it being up to the individual survey companies, not them, they actually gave me a handful of points in compensation (I think one survey was over 100 points, and they gave me 35). There are a few providers I have this issue with besides ITC Traffic. There's another site that has "innovatemr" in the URL, apparently the company is called PointClub. I had the same issue with their surveys. I contacted their Support and they blamed it on my computer blocking or changing my IP address conflicting with their new security measures. They urged me to turn off my VPN (which I don't have), privacy plug-ins or proxy software (which I'm sure I don't have either). It's getting to the point now where I just quickly close out of the survey page if I see that name in the URL. Used to have the same issues with SaySoForGood (I think that was the name) but lately they've been okay. DKR SSI Surveys most of the time redirect me to a "please try again" page saying that they value consistency in their survey respondents and that I could have rushed or provided dishonest answers. I'm told to refresh, clear cookies etc and if the problem persists to contact their Support (which they don't have a link for on that page, so it's useless).
