  1. I get some that say I'll be on a team and have a certain amount of points or money. The instructions on one of them today were so detailed, I just don't have the head for these. There were so many "if this" and what to keep and who would get what on your team...I just clicked off. I love Prolific but I wish some of the researchers would make them more simple. It's a turnoff, for me, anyway.

  2. Did a survey from Pure Profile, got to question about 'How many people live in your household' the 2 choices adults over 18 & children under 18. There just 2 adults so answered with 0 in children - but error (see attached) each value must be greater than or equal to 1. So answered 1 & was able to complete. Sent them a query as there is obviously a problem with code:- "On demographics page wouldn’t let me move on (see attached) - there are no children in my house, but putting 0 (the truth) I got error. So I put one (not true) and it worked!" today got a reply Thanks for getting in touch. It appears that this study has now been paused which is why you were unable to continue. We're sorry to hear that you weren't able to fully participate in this activity. There are a given number of responses we need for each activity and once we have the required amount, the activity is closed. If the activity goes live again we'll add it straight back into your Pureprofile feed. We apologise for any inconvenience this might have caused you. Please let us know if we can help with anything further. Does that really answer my query!

  3. Completely agree. I had one the other day, didn't have a clue what was going on I complained about prolific a couple of weeks ago on here, but since then it's got a lot better again. Maybe all the ones that joined up got bored and gave up.

  4. I bet it was because it's the only one today that had such LONG, detailed instructions. They pay well but they have my head spinning, just not worth the money to me. Thanks for the reply, glad to know I'm not the only one because sometimes I think I am losing the ability to concentrate like when I was younger, lol.

  5. I strongly suspect that much of this 'customer service' is automated, with no actual humans anywhere near. Having said that, not all companies are the same: QMee customer service is very good in my experience.

  6. Why can't survey sites be honest from the get go? 95% of the time surveys are MUCH longer than indicated. Do they want to lure us in and then tell us a 5 minute survey is 28 minutes?? I back out of this ploy over and over again. Wish they wouldn't waste our time. And sometimes it takes five minutes to see if we qualify for a supposedly five minute survey. In five more minutes we are told we don't qualify! (I won't even mention all the times that you finish a survey and then you are told that you don't qualify after the fact!. Well, I just mentioned it, sorry!) Why are we even getting surveys that we don't qualify for all the time anyway?? We fill out the profile. If we don't qualify, don't send it! Bottom line, be honest with us from the start, survey sites. If a survey is 30 minutes long don't say it is 5 minutes! AND if we don't qualify, don't send us the survey in the first place! (PS Steam is coming out of my ears right now!)

  7. I believe this has to do with Amazon Web Services being down most of the day yesterday. That affected many sites, including one of the survey sites I was trying yesterday. It even affected those who have Ring doorbell system. It was like that a great part of the day yesterday.

  11. I see Qmee have added a quality score points out of ten on their site. This is completely out of order, who makes up this score? If you read it , it mentions something about they have no control over this score and that they can't do nothing about it if it drops, very shady if you ask me. They have some tips on how to improve your score, one of the tips is don't screen out of too many surveys, what! If I don't like the questions or it's taking too long I have every right to screen out of the survey. I think this has something to do do with that awful company Clint/Your Surveys. Every survey seems to be a Clint one. I don't like where Qmee is heading.
