  1. I've been a member of Branded Surveys for over 6 months now. I can't tell you how frustrating it is sometimes when you spend 15+ minutes taking a survey, and then they say it is closed or you don't qualify. If you rush through a survey, they will deduct points from your quality score. But yet they send a ton of emails telling you to open ASAP for the next survey. What's worse, is that they sometimes reject a survey a week or two later and you have no idea why. There doesn't seem to be anyone available to send email about issues that come up. They do pay promptly though and I'd recommend you cash out on a weekly basis. But the biggest issue I've noticed is with the Leaderboards. Most of the surveys I've taken have point and money values from 5 cents to 4 dollars. And many surveys take longer than 10 to 20 minutes to respond to. Even if you spend like 6 or 8 hours in a day responding to the higher value surveys, the MOST I ever got in a day was like $12. The thing is, that if you look at the leaderboards with money values, how are people getting $40 or $50+ per day from these surveys? And even worse, there are a number of panelists that are getting $400 to $500 a month. Is this a scam by Branded Surveys in the rankings to get more people to participate or is there something else more shady going on for the top earners? Yes there are some special surveys that can have focus groups or off line activities where you can earn $25 - 50+ for participating, but that comes directly from the private company sponsoring the survey and NOT from Branded Surveys. So how are there so many panelists earning these high rewards?

  2. The posts on FB are all from the UK. That site closed almost 2 months back. The US site is open and active.

  3. I don't think they're closed, at least not in the US.

  4. I'm also getting mostly the "varies" survey, which I will not do. I will X out of those every single time. Since One Opinion is a Dynata company, I seldom go there anymore. They are a waste of time and the $25.00 cash out minimum is ridiculous.

  5. Yeah, they suck. Got one of their surveys through another site, answered all the questions, had successfully completed the survey, and got declined at the end. From now on, if I get any of their surveys through the sites I belong to, I will just X out. They shouldn't be in business.

  6. Yeah I'm giving them a break until after New Year's to see if they get the bugs worked out, but if they don't, I'm out of there too.

  10. I have done well with them in the past as long as I get surveys with a high point values. This has happened a lot in the past but they are few and far between as of late. I just don't seem to qualify for much anymore or survey have reached their quota. This is especially true on the weekend when there seems to be a lot less surveys to take or even none at all available for me. Maybe the weekend problem is because of the extra 50 points they offer? I am baffled as to why I just don't qualify much anymore or so many surveys are closed. I have noticed that there are a LOT more members and the number of surveys has not significantly increased. This could also be the problem. Whatever it is, I am not happy.

  11. I joined YouGov earlier in the year and after several months I was able to redeem points for a gift card. No problems with that transaction at all. After a period of time I built up enough points for a PayPal redemption and tried to redeem the points. I kept getting a "oops something went wrong screen". So figuring that they were having some kind of glitch I decided to keep doing the surveys and build up the points. I tried off and on to redeem the points, but kept getting the same screen. I managed to get to 50,000 points and again tried to redeem points over a period of weeks always getting the same screen as above. After numerous attempts I finally sent an email to them stating the problem and attached a copy of the screen. I never got a reply and continued to send them an email after every failed attempt. Two weeks after the last email and still not having received a reply I again attempted to redeem points for Paypal cash.... This time I was able to redeem 5000 points and almost immediately the cash appeared in my account. So I thought great, I'll redeem the nother 5000 points for another $25 Paypal cash. I immediately received an email from YouGov stating that I had redeemed 5000 points, BUT nothing from PayPal. I checked my account for the missing money every couple of days. I waited, and waited and nothing for days. After a week of not having received anything I again sent them an email which was acknowledged with an automated responce. After another week I still had't received the money or an email respeonce so I again sent them another email. I am now waiting for a responce from them. So to sum up the situation: 1. I was unable to redeem points for months. 2. Once I reached 10,000 points I was again unable to redeem points for three more weeks. 3. Numerous emails sent to YouGov were never answered during this entire time. 4. I was able to redeem 5000 points and was paid, but no explanation from YouGov what the problem was. 5. My second redemption was acknowledged, but has not yet been paid. Furthermore, I had built up a small amount in their other program, Direct, and sent in the redemption request today. I will update this topic if and when they pay the amount to my bank account. Finally, I'm not going to do any more surveys from them until they pay me and then have good long think about closing the account based on the actions to date.
