  1. Starting this year (January 2022) Paypal is now required to send you a 1099K tax form if you make over $600. This would most likely include everything you make from surveys altogether. Therefore I strongly suggest keeping track of every payment received from paypal and keep a running total going so that you do not go over. Paypal doesn't show you how much you received in a given year, so it is up to you to keep track.

  2. I got the Survey Police newsletter and realized I've been away for a long time. I will try and keep posting again!

  3. Same here. Since Feb 1, I get about 10 emails a day from Oneopinion but there are never any surveys to take. Either they are closing down in the US or accounts are being suspended again. But Dynata is still operating since I got a 1099 tax form in the mail for being over $600 in earnings.

  4. This is really outrageous. What happens if you already get a 1099 form from the survey company that is paying you for anything over $600? That money is transferred to a Paypal account. Isn't that going to be double counting of earnings?

  5. I've had a few surveys. And I'm also getting all those email invites.

  6. Has anyone had a survey at One Opinion in the last few days? Are you also getting bombarded by email invites? That is what i have been seeing of late. Also , no response to an email in several days.

  7. In my experience a sure fire way to get thrown out of a survey is to give them your name & address. It seems like a lot of time that is all they are interested in. As soon as they get that they cut you loose. May not always be the case but that is how it has worked out for me more often than not.

  8. No, it's not strange, I just won't do it except if it's for product testing and they ask for name and address after the survey.

  9. I had five hundred points taken, but by the time Lifeless did the claw back, I had cashed out. So, My account is at -500 points. What probably happened is the client that Lifeless fielded the survey for was scrubbing the survey results and your responses were out of bounds, probably not wrong, just what they can't use. They didn't want to pay for your answers. Perchance, do you recall if it was a financial survey? I've had financial surveys scrubbed at Pointless clubs and American Consumer Opinion (ACOP).

  10. It's become way obvious that JD Power only wants the responses their clients pay for so said clients can brag about being highest rated whatever in their particular industry. This is why I've said several times that although I do surveys for a little extra money, I pay no attention to the results. Manipulated and meaningless.
