Sigh. I took a few surveys on Branded today and of course I did not qualify., It seems I never do anymore for the few surveys that are available as of late. BUT I got three points for trying! It has been a very long time since I got any points for trying! Do you remember the Good Ol' Days when Branded wasn't Branded or Dynata and was My Points and we got 5 points just for trying? My three points today reminded me of this and I SO WISH that not only did Branded give you five points for trying but I wish other survey sites would give just a few points for effort! My Rant and Rave is that I find myself clicking on a supposedly 5 minute survey that ends up taking 10 or 15 minutes to even qualify. Then either you find out you don't qualify or you take the entire survey and THEN find out you don't qualify (Yeah, right! Most likely they are using our answers and not paying us) It's NEVER the 5 minutes and you get nothing for your wasted time. I would love for survey sites to give us a meager few points for trying and at least this would acknowledge the fact that we made some effort! What do you think?

Okay, this is bizarre. As mentioned, I've gotten a few email survey invites since this place seemed to have disappeared. Of course, I didn't take the bait. But I logged in on Sunday just to see if the site still existed. Apparently it does, but it still looks kind of a mess to me. I did notice the site said I had enough points to cash out for a $20 gift card, which was strange since I only had earned enough points for the $10 gift card I never received. And I certainly hadn't done any surveys for them since. Anyway, gave a shot at redeeming, and lo and behold a $20 Tango gift card arrived this morning. Not complaining. But I'm still more than hesitant to do any more surveys for them.

I had no idea that Branded Surveys was acquired by Dynata. That is absolutely the WORST news possible and they are the most despicable company around. They ruined just about all of the other panels like Oneopinion, e-rewards and others. I imagine Dynata is going to be dropping many people off the Branded Surveys panel like they did all of the other platforms.

I would be very sad to see this great community get into a heated debate over politics. It's made for dissention in so many other communities. So far everyone has been respectful and I hope it stays that way but you never know. Everyone is absolutely entitled to their opinions but sometimes it is best to keep politics out of the mix and get along as we always have. I do not mean to offend anyone in the slightest. My only objective with this post is to continue to have everyone get along. Thank you for understanding!

I was doing a QMee survey, which was actually an advertisement for a new survey app called Survey Pop. Part of the survey was to download their app and take a screen shot as proof. I went through with it and got paid via Qmee right away. However, I did NOT keep the Survey Pop app because according to its google app reviews, Survey Pop only allows you to take surveys up to the $2.30 point and then intentionally freeze every survey after that to prevent you from reaching the $5 min cashout threshold. Beware!

Unfortunately one of my favorite survey sites is acting up now too. I have always said good things about Prolific, but suddenly it won't allow me to take any more surveys claiming my IP address has been flagged! This is ridiculous because I made no changes on my end. I tried emailing them, but so far I just received an auto respinse about how they randomly flag IP addresses and sometimes unflag them when they see nothing wrong. Well, then why not unflag mine?? I replied to their auto email and told them this is unacceptable. Meanwhile, I was still able to cash out thankfully and made sure I did this before they hold my money hostage too. My recommendation is cash out as soon as you hit $5 because this once great survey site is now acting screwy. Anyone else having IP issues with Prolific?

UPDATE: Prolific still allows me to take surveys from my home Wifi internet connection. However, no longer allows me under a 4G connection outside of my home.
