  1. I have been putting off writing about this but it is happening more often and is not a 'coincidence' I have taken several surveys that end up being political in nature ( the political questions begin when you are halfway done) Lately they call for not just multiple choice but well thought out responses, which take considerable time. I respond diplomatically in my responses. Surveys can be about 15 minutes to complete. Once I hit submit, the message of: you don't qualify pops up.. Wasted time... but even more frustrating is that whoever created the survey is biased. I would like to know if anyone has come across this issue as well?

  2. No way I would make $30 a day, unless it was for a market research study. You must be a lot younger than I am.

  3. I belong to a Facebook group for people that shop at Jewel, which is the largest grocery store chain in the Chicago area. People post about deals they find at their particular Jewel, and the person that runs the site, posts ads for the store. Jewel has a lot of sales where you have to buy four of something in order to get it on sale, such as four boxes of cereal. Several seniors on the site claim that this is unfair for seniors that don't need four boxes of cereal. I personally don't purchase anything that I don't need a lot of. I don't need four bags of cookies, and so I do not buy cookies. I just pointed out that most companies do not want to market to seniors because seniors in general are not impulse shoppers. tv shows like Dancing with the Stars have problems getting advertisers, because the shows cater to Seniors. I also mentioned that survey companies do not want seniors doing surveys too. The person in charge of the Facebook group says that advertisers want to promote to people that are going to be around ten years from now.

  4. In my area , Tops requires that. But , the local store nearest to me - Herrema's Market Place - may have something on sale at 4/$5 , but you are allowed to buy as few as needed at $1.25. Not sure about Wegmans as I rarely shop there.

  6. An update: After about a week of switching to using the Firefox browser, I eventually resumed using Google Chrome again out of curiosity and the issue that I mentioned was finally resolved, on its own apparently. It's been almost two weeks since I sent MyPoints a help request ticket about the situation, but of course they never replied. Now there's an issue of them not paying me despite it being 7 days since I requested a cash out, and all my previous cash outs have only taken 2 or 3 days at most. I'm really starting to regret joining that site. It's nearly impossible to get a response from them when something goes wrong or even just when asking for clarification about minor issues...

  7. I vaguely remember taking a Lego related survey a few months ago, but I don't think they mentioned anything about sending free Legos.
