  2. Amazon has lots of problems with people that get a product for free if they agree to leave a five star review. They are trying to figure out how to deal with it. I know you can leave a review for a book on Amazon even though you have never purchased it, but I don't know if you can leave a review for a microwave if you have never purchased it on Amazon All of the anti Trump books on Amazon have had tons of one star review left by fans of Trump who have not purchased the book.

  5. When I was checking my email yesterday, I made the mistake of opening up an email that I should have not. After I clicked the email, I read it, and then it said to hit continue. When I did that, I got a very loud message stating that I now had a trojan virus on my computer, and they gave me a number to call that was supposed to be Windows support. The message kept repeating itself, and I did not know what to do because they told me not to shut off my computer, and I was supposed to call up Windows support, who would then walk me through how to deal with it. I called a few people, and out of the two that were home, one did not know what to do, and the other one has a son who I thought might be able to help me. My friend told me that her son was busy, and the message was driving me crazy. I finally called my friend again to see if she could give me the number of a friend of ours who is a computer expert, and she told me that she had left a message on my cell phone telling me that he son said to just turn off my computer. I did that, and when I started it up again, it worked just fine. I tried calling up the number they gave me, and it was not Windows support. I suspect it was some outfit in India that was going to offer me tech support.

  6. That's impressive. In the past 3 months I've been sent to at least 5 JD Power surveys, although I don't even bother with them and just close the tabs because: a) there's no guarantee that I'd fully qualify for one and could easily just get DQ'd halfway through, and b) they're usually not worth the trouble because they ask too many open-ended questions and in my experience, they don't pay well anyway.

  7. I used to do surveys from Northwestern University's business school. You would be eligible for drawings, and I won a few Amazon GC. I don't know if they are still doing them or not. I quit receiving surveys from them.

  8. I exit out of the university/college surveys too. Most of them are tedious questionnaires about hypothetical situations that hurt my brain. Absolute nonsense!
