  1. They've been getting worse for quite a while in my experience. Many of the images shown are grainy and difficult to make out.

  2. Totally drives me nuts too and many others as well! You are NOT alone. I don't think it is okay to leave out anything, even a tiny tip. But the problem here is inconsistency as mostly leaving any little piece out doesn't work. But every once in awhile it does. They are truly a royal pain in the butt!!

  3. Need some tips on getting thru these reCAPTCHA walls before doing a survey. Mainly the original ones , not the newer ones that fade in etc . Is it ok to leave out a tiny tip of a motorcycle tyre ? Drives me nuts !

  4. Thank you for the confirmation- I thought it was my aging eyes!

  5. Been there. There have been many times of late where it appeared all parts of the object were selected other than a micron touching another square that caused it to go to another reCAPTCHA. Sometimes that has required 4-5 tries to get it accepted. Quite annoying.

  6. I was trying to do a survey on MyPoints and had to try to get through the reCAPTCHA first. It was so horrible and I did take my time, but I went through many of the reCAPTCHA screen and was finaly thrown out and got a notice from MyPoints that I was being suspended from taking surveys. I did gently protest and complained about the reCAPTCHA and they had a change of heart. Ridiculous! I did tell someone once about this and they suggested that you should have 3-4 of the boxes checked, but no more. I just hate those things!

  7. Has absolutely nothing to do with the health of our eyes! Thiese stupid things are inconsistent, tricky, and frustrating at best.

  10. I terminate the survey if it's a repeat, as I don't want my IP address or survey account potentially flagged for multiple attempts. However, I've had some that were very similar but had a couple of different questions or products to evaluate, so you never know. Let's just say I've never had a problem even if I accidentally took the same survey twice.

  11. I had 8 surveys on there this morning I was able to complete 1 and the other7 were all closed

  14. I never recalled hearing of this company or signing up for them (but must have signed up with them in the past). Out of the blue I received a phone call from them inviting me to participate in a 1 hr Zoom research study for them. I cannot disclose any details about the study itself, but it went very well! They sent me the link to join a couple days before the session (it was my very first Zoom focus group). I was just paid (4 days following the study) via Paypal as promised. I was a little nervous since I never heard of them before, but it turns out they are legit. Anyone else have experiences with FieldGoals.US?

  15. Surveys have been coming just as often as before again. One thing that has become better is that after I cashed out via Paypal, I received my money within the hour. In the past, it used to take a couple days for the money to get into my Paypal. I am now happy with the new design.

  16. Not sure about your situation, but if I get a Zamplia survey, I immediately close it. Total waste of time.

  17. I'm not going to even try. I assume once you complete your streak, the next day you'll have zero surveys. 10% of zero is zero.

  18. I've managed to do a few surveys this week, but I'm getting mostly closed surveys, too.

  21. Just tested it at Google's test site and it now works. Per Mozilla , the issue affected all versions of Firefox - current and prior - so it was something on Google's end. Looks like it is fixed or close to it.

  22. I just signed up for a market research project from Sago, where you are asked to try out an electric toothbrush they are going to send you. It looks like I am eligible. The study is going to start on 4/16, and they are going to send you an electric toothbrush to try. I will get $75 if I just complete the first three surveys they are going to send me, but for some people the study will go into 2025, and those people will get paid more. They are going to call me up within the next 48 hours to set me up for the study.

  23. Certainly not. I recently had cataracts removed from both eyes and the Captchas are still terrible!

  24. Usually I get the Nielson surveys which I can complete 95% of them. Now they are they are using differnet routers like a typical survey company such as survey junkie. I cashed out I much as I could. I wouldn't be surprised if I see Sample Cube or Itraffic routers next.

  25. Some of the worst reCAPTCHAs are on Pollfish surveys!

  26. It seems that sometimes the offers to join a community are pretty low points for the time. I have joined so many communities and then never hear from them again. Tellwut was bad about that and part of the reason that I left their site. What I also found was sometimes I would be dq'd so no points for that either.

  27. You were right in doing that, for sure. Figured I'd get a few points but that didn't happen either. Oh well. Live and learn!

  28. I just completed a survey with Fortright from the University of Connecticut that took me forever to complete, and they had me copy all of the long rows of numbers and letters. I did 31 of them, and I was supposed to get ten cents for each one I got right, and so I was supposed to get $3.10, and then get $1.50 for answering the first set of questions. I only received $1.50. It took me over one hour to complete it. Do not do this survey.

  31. Prime Option has this deal where you get to pick a prize if you've completed at least one survey every day for a week, which is pretty easy to do. I've gotten a 20% reward bonus on surveys from that a few times, and they usually last 72 hours.

  32. This is a new one to me. After completing a rather long and complicated survey with a few videos to watch, I came to the end of the survey. I was thanked for participating and THEN go the message above. This has never happened to me before, receiving this particular message at the end of a survey. I've gotten it at the beginning and midway through ( erroneous) buy never at the end. Have you ever experienced this.? Guess it is another way NOT to pay us.

  33. I've been receiving 'surveys' that are really just invitations to sign up with another panel. I'm looking especially at you, QMee.

  34. Last few days , there have been 3-6 surveys listed , but all were "closed". Something seems amiss at the site as that never happened in the past.

  35. I was with them back in those days. In a "freshen the panel" phase about 10 years ago , I was removed. No loss. It had started to go downhill by then.

  36. I know I have complained about MyPoints for quite some time and I kept going back to try try again. But recently I had them stiff me twice on things, like the Bingo board, they stiffed me out of 650 points, and then I purchased something through their site, and no credit for points on that. That one has happened time and time again. So I cashed out yesterday for a GC and I have 5 points left in my account. I am not going back and as soon as I get the GC, I am deleting them off of my system. I feel good about not spending a lot of time trying to make a few cents.

  37. Yeah, I've come across these before. With some it might actually be okay but generally speaking I'd avoid that. I forget which site it was, maybe inboxdollars. They offered an incentive to join another "survey site". I've done that before without any issues (until then). They made me input my address and phone number and would not let me proceed unless I did. So I did. And the surveys were mostly questions like, "Are you interested in a job in your area?" I answered the same bleeping question like 50 times, and I got the stupid idea that maybe if I started saying "yes" to them they'd stop asking that question. Nope. It kept asking anyway. At some point I realized this was a bs website and not actually a survey site. My email address and phone were blown up with job offer type stuff. Some wouldn't stop trying to call and text and I had to reply saying "I'm not interested." or "There's been a mistake/I didn't sign up for anything." I actually wasn't interested (I realize I said yes but I was trying to get that website to shut up, I know it was a dumb idea and it didn't work). I realize I fell into some kind of trap which was probably from some shady people. Cause who would legitimately have a "survey" website like that? And BTW I never got the incentive I was supposed to get for joining. I should've reported them, at least to inboxdollars, but I just didn't. Regret that. I don't even know what the name of the site was. Ever since then that phone number got a ton of spam, and one day I got a group spam text and being I use a prepaid phone plan I kept getting charged for all the texts, and the stupid other people that got the group spam text kept replying "stop" and I got charged like $15 in one night cause of it. BTW people, replying STOP to a spam text that obviously comes from a scammer doesn't work. In fact it does the opposite of stopping it. So yeah, I ended up switching phone numbers because of what happened, didn't want to get more group spam texts. Don't ever make the same mistake I did. I ended up on spam lists cause of what happened. Not cool. And TBF I can't believe something like inboxdollars would allow something like that to happen. I guess they don't check if they're legitimate sites or not. I had something similar happen I think through other websites, they were the "vote for Pepsi or Mountain Dew" type sites, which I'm pretty sure are fake surveys. That might've been through Swagbucks. But the inboxdollars thing that happened was the worst one IMO.

  38. Last time I got one it kept spinning till I qualified - kinda like Unlock which use to be Springboard. I believe most of these sites are hanging on by a thread.

  39. So do I. I don't choose long surveys deliberately because I've spent too much time on them only to get DQ'd at the end, so I'd rather stick to the shorter ones. I suspect it's because many screeners bounce you around. One screener I get a lot says "we're finding you a survey." What about the one I clicked on in the first place? If it's full or whatever, bounce me out and let me find my own substitute.
